IA Round-up Report: Panel and Workshop on IA Resumes
Here in Washington DC, we have an active UX community. But we also have challenges in finding the right person for the right job. As the Local Ambassador for the User Experience Network (UXnet.org), I was approached by a local UX professional, Austin Govella, and asked to look at how we can help the local UX community better match employees with employers.

Intimacy Gradient
I’ve drafted an intimacy diagram for my IA Summit presentation. The concept of the intimacy gradient comes form architecture and states that our comfort levels of intimacy change with how public our interactions are. From the bedroom to the porch to the town square. I’ve taken that concept and applied it to social networks in a similar fashion as Socialtext.
